* Proper Noun, Uncountable Noun, Plural Noun के पहले A/An का नही प्रयोग होता है। तथा Kind of, Sort of, type of, Variety of के बाद प्रयुक्त Noun के पहले A/An का नही प्रयोग होता है।
Example: - We live in a Bihar (×)

But: A piece of Gold (✓)

NOTE: दक्षता/प्रवीणता (Proficiency) और योग्यता/सामर्थ्य/शक्ति (Capability) का पता लगाने के लिए, के बाद प्रयुक्त Noun के पहले A/An का प्रयोग होता है।

But: What kind of man is he का प्रयोग व्यापार या पेशा का पता लगाने के लिए होता है।
* Food Items (Names of meals) के पहले A/An का प्रयोग नही होता है।
Example:

- Give a dinner (×). Give a dinner (✓)
- Have a tea (×). Have a tea (✓)
- Before a lunch (×). Before a lunch (✓)
लेकिन Food items के पहले Adj का प्रयोग होने पर A/An का प्रयोग होता है।

* Post of, rank of, title of, position of, job of के बाद प्रयुक्त Nouns के पहले A/An का नही प्रयोग होता है।
Example:

- Rank of a principal (×) > Rank of principal (✓)
- The job of a clerk (×) > The job of clerk (✓)
* सिर्फ Adjective के पहले A/An का प्रयोग नही होता है।

* Possessive Adj ( My, our, your, his, her, its, their) के बाद प्रयुक्त Noun के पहले A/An का प्रयोग नही होता है।
Example:
